Privacy policy

Sheet Music Analysis ("we") is a free tool. It has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking. This page explains what reaches our server, what we keep, and for how long.
What reaches our server
In Claude, with the plugin
Your score file stays in Claude's own workspace. The plugin sends our server only a compact list of the notes in the passage (pitches, timings and staves), so our model can draft the analysis. This list is used to answer the request and is not stored.
In ChatGPT, or in Claude with the file button
The score file you attach or pick is sent to our server, which drafts the analysis and draws the annotated page. We store the score, the draft and the drawn pages (PNG and PDF) so that the chat can refer back to them during your conversation.
Never
We do not receive your chat messages, your name, your email address or your account details from Claude or ChatGPT. The analysis we draw is the one the chat model sends us; your conversation itself stays with Anthropic or OpenAI and is covered by their privacy policies.
What we keep, and for how long

We do not sell, share or use any of this for advertising or for training models.
Who processes the data
- Google Cloud (United States) runs the analysis server and stores the files and logs above.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and our domain, and passes requests on to the analysis server without keeping them. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
Your choices
You can use the Claude plugin without sending us your file at all. To have something deleted sooner, or to ask what we hold, email support@sheetmusicanalysis.com. Because we do not know who sent a given file, include the date and the name of the piece so we can find it.
The service is meant for general audiences, including students under 18. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
